Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Account Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across the Republic of Ireland, ensuring the effective delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, reactive repairs, projects, and specialist subcontractor works. This role is ideal for an individual with strong relationship management, operational, and commercial skills who can act as the primary point of contact for clients while coordinating internal teams and specialist service providers to deliver a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key clients throughout Ireland.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client service and operational requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, repairs, and minor project works.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and specialist subcontractor services to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and service reviews.
  • Monitor service performance against contractual obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates for additional works.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and business growth within existing accounts.
  • Manage work schedules and resource planning in conjunction with operations teams.
  • Review service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Support the resolution of client queries, issues, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records using company systems and reporting tools.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Account Manager, Facilities Manager, Contracts Manager, Service Manager, or similar client-facing role.
  • Experience managing mechanical and electrical maintenance contracts.
  • Strong understanding of facilities management, building services, or maintenance operations.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple service providers.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with experience preparing quotations and managing budgets.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital management systems.

Desirable Requirements

  • Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or Building Services.
  • Experience managing service contracts across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of compliance and statutory maintenance requirements.
  • Relevant trade or third-level qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced service delivery environment.
