The Opportunity
We’re working with a high-growth, sustainability-led consumer brand that’s scaling rapidly and investing heavily in the future of its supply chain. This role sits at the intersection of forecasting, data, and automation, with a clear mandate to modernise how demand planning is done. This isn’t a traditional planning role. It’s about moving beyond spreadsheets, leveraging AI and automation, and building scalable systems that can keep pace with growth. You’ll own the global demand signal across DTC and retail channels, while driving real transformation in how the business forecasts, plans, and makes decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own Demand Planning & S&OP
- Lead the end-to-end monthly S&OP cycle
- Own global demand inputs across DTC and retail channels
- Translate EPOS data and commercial insight into accurate forecasts
- Align bottom-up forecasts with top-down business targets
- Act as the central owner of demand across the business
- Drive AI & Automation
- Analyse large datasets to identify key trends and drivers
- Build and improve planning tools using AI and automation
- Eliminate manual processes through smart workflow design
- Improve forecast accuracy, reporting speed, and insight generation
- Embed a more data-led, quantitative approach to planning
- Influence & Lead
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Partner closely with Supply Planning to align inbound decisions
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Support and develop junior team members
What They’re Looking For
- Experience
- Background in demand planning within FMCG, retail, or D2C
- Combination of 'Blue Chip' Global companies and Fast Growth challenger start-up/scale-ups
- Experience working within S&OP / IBP heavy environments
- AI & Automation (Key Focus)
- Experience using AI or automation to improve planning or reporting
- Strong interest in applying emerging tech to real business problems
- Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and build solutions
- Technical & Analytical
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong data manipulation and analytical capability
- Understanding of forecasting methodologies
- Exposure to SQL, BI tools, or similar is a plus
- Mindset
- High ownership and proactive problem-solving approach
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong communicator with commercial awareness
