A busy fit-out focused contractor is hiring a Construction Administrator to support live projects and the site/delivery team from their Cavan base. This is a great opportunity for someone organised and detail-driven who enjoys a fast-paced construction environment and wants stable, long-term work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day admin support to the Project/Site team across fit-out works
- Manage document control: drawings, RFIs, submittals, O&M manuals, handover files
- Coordinate site paperwork: inductions, training records, permits and general compliance documentation
- Support procurement/admin: POs, delivery dockets, GRNs, supplier queries and tracking lead times
- Maintain project trackers (snag lists, variations, materials, progress updates)
- Prepare meeting minutes, reports and general correspondence
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and clients to keep information flowing
Requirements
- Previous experience in a construction admin/document control role (fit-out experience is a strong advantage)
- Strong IT skills (MS Office; experience with document management systems beneficial)
- Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines in a site/project environment
