Location: East Midlands base with 2 days in Office
Salary: c.£40,000 and excellent benefits package (pension, flexible working, bonus, and excellent holiday allowance)
Grafton Recruitment are working with a large public sector organisation to appoint an experienced procurement professional to manage supplier and stakeholder relations for a number of complex procurement projects.
You will be responsible for tendering and contract negotiation for procurement projects across the East Midland region. You will manage the full cycle of the procurement process, engaging with stakeholders over their needs, preparing tender details, and negotiating and implementing contracts. You will manage the ongoing relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance and identifying potential cost saving opportunities.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your existing procurement skills in a large procurement function and support a number of interesting projects.
Experience Required:- Supporting tendering processes, setting up contracts and managing vendor performance.
- Managing and supporting stakeholders through the procurement process.
- Identifying and delivering service and value improvement.
- Experience in public sector procurement and knowledge of processes required.
