Production Planner

Location: Burnley Area

Salary: up to £35,000

Grafton Recruitment is working with an FMCG organisation to recruit an experienced Production Planner.

The role involves liaising with production, materials, and purchasing teams to develop and manage the production schedule for a high-volume manufacturing site.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzing customer demand and ensuring plans meet dynamic requirements.
  2. Liaising with production, purchasing, and supply teams to ensure raw materials are available.
  3. Monitoring stock levels and highlighting potential shortages.
  4. Expediting internal requirements to prevent shortfalls.
  5. Reporting on performance to the business.

Requirements:

  1. Previous production planning experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  2. Analytical skills and the ability to assess and implement changes quickly.
  3. Strong cross-functional liaison skills.
  4. Focus on continuous improvement.

This is a permanent role based on-site, working five days a week.
