The Events Coordinator provides hands‑on support across internal events, hospitality operations, and employee engagement activities. This includes coordinating logistics, overseeing food and beverage operations, managing meeting room setups and collaborating with internal teams to ensure high‑quality event delivery. This role suits a detail‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Events Manager for all internal events.
- Oversee all food & beverage arrangements, including vendor coordination, menu planning, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate meeting room setup and breakdown according to event requirements.
- Attend weekly event meetings and support logistical planning.
- Collaborate with facilities and IT/AV teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Process vendor payments and maintain accurate cost records.
- Supervise external event support staff and ensure health & safety standards are upheld.
- Oversee and manage meeting room bookings.
- Provide reception cover when required, including lunch breaks and annual leave.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of all LEC events and initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between the LEC and employees, gathering feedback and supporting engagement improvements.
- Maintain event and catering inventory and place orders when required.
- Coordinate LEC members and help drive participation in London office engagement activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in event coordination, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Experience in office management, reception, or administrative roles involving event delivery.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a high‑pressure environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Immaculate presentation and strong attention to detail.
- Flexible availability for early morning or evening events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using Cvent is advantageous.
Qualifications and Desirable Attributes
- Strong administrative and organisational capability.
- Confident using office technology, phone systems, and AV-related tools.
