Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Grafton Recruitment is working on behalf of a large manufacturing organization to recruit an experienced procurement professional to manage the procurement process for their Inverness manufacturing and assembly site. This is a 12-month temporary role with travel requirements to other sites and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage buying of materials for the site.
- Sourcing products and managing supplier relationships.
- Placing purchase orders and expediting materials.
- Ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials.
- Liaising with local site colleagues regarding production plans.
- Collaborating with the broader UK and international procurement teams to ensure procurement strategy adherence.
Requirements:
- Experience in procurement, preferably with manufacturing materials.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.
