People Partner (6-12 month contract) - Competitive Salary We are partnering with an established organisation to recruit an experienced People Partner for a 6β12 month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad and varied generalist role offering the opportunity to work across both strategic and operational people matters, partnering closely with senior leaders while supporting the delivery of an effective and engaging people agenda.
The successful candidate will take responsibility across the full employee lifecycle, with particular involvement in employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, engagement, people operations, reward and benefits, people data and policy development. The original brief also includes oversight of people processes and responsibility for supporting managers and leaders across the organisation.
You will provide day-to-day advice and guidance to managers, support organisational and cultural initiatives and help ensure HR processes, policies and systems remain effective, compliant and fit for purpose. You will also use people data and insights to identify priorities and opportunities for improvement.
We are looking for an experienced HR/People professional with strong generalist capability and the confidence to operate as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders. You will need sound employee relations experience together with a good understanding of payroll and benefits, and be comfortable balancing hands-on operational delivery with broader people initiatives.
Experience within education would be advantageous but is not essential. More important will be a pragmatic and collaborative approach, strong stakeholder skills and the ability to operate effectively within a varied and evolving environment. The organisation describes specific independent special-school experience as desirable. PEOPLE_PARTNER_FTC_Aug_2026__1_
