Grafton Banks Finance is exclusively assisting a c£10m turnover growing and highly successful SME business in Dartford with the recruitment of a Financial Controller.
Candidates must be fully qualified, either CIMA, ACCA or ACA and have previous hands-on SME experience at a Manager or Controller level to apply.
This is the most senior finance position in the company reporting directly to the owners and has the potential to evolve into a Finance Director position over time.
Key areas of responsibility include: Overall control and responsibility for the accounting function within the company Line manage a small team of accounts clerks/assistants Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts Budgeting, forecasting and analysis Act as the primary user/administrator of the accountancy packages Duties include Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, and General Ledger Control of the bank accounts and payment set-ups.
