Job Description
Interim Group Financial Controller
Croydon (4 days on site)
£100-110k pro rata
6-12 months
Grafton Banks Finance is looking for a competent and credible Group Financial Controller to join an established and growing business in Croydon, offering a friendly and cohesive culture. This role is to cover for long term sickness within the team. Reporting to the Group FD you will take responsibility for a small experienced team and assist with their coaching and development. The role will be for a minimum of 6 months.
Key responsibilities:
–      All operational finance, helping to improve month end reporting and processes
–      Improving Balance Sheet Controls
–      Timely preparation of financial data for Board meetings
–      Analysis of all tax processes
–      Assistance with implementation of FRS102
–      Selection and implementation of a new finance system, while enhancing current usage of technology
The successful candidate will be:
–      A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive operational finance experience
–      A confident and comfortable leader of finance professionals
–      Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of financial systems
–    Living locally (on-site 4 days per week)
–      Available to start at short noticeÂ
