Grafton Banks Finance are working with a global commercial business with offices in Littlehampton, West Sussex to recruit an Interim Accountant on a 6-month interim contract to support the business with the month end financial and management accounting. Reporting into the Group Finance Director and working within a friendly finance team this interim job opportunity is working in office Monday – Friday with some flexibility.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Management accounting
- Assisting in compiling annual budgets and building financial forecasts.
- Comparing actual financial results against budgeted targets to identify overspends or unexpected shortfalls.
- Cashflow projections – monitoring working capital
- KPI Tracking – measuring the business performance and aid strategic decision making
- Financial Accounting
- Recording transactions and producing finalised statements for both internal and external stakeholders
- Statutory Reporting
- Preparing year-end financial statements
- Tax compliance – including preparing and filing corporate taxes
- VAT and returns
- Audit Support
This is a contract role for a period of 6 months. A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer. Due to the interim nature of this role candidates available within 1 months’ notice will take preference.
