Finance Manager

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing international SME business, based in Crawley, to recruit a new Finance Manager role.

Reporting to the CFO this role will lead a small team responsible for finance operations, month end accounting, and financial reporting.

We are looking for a qualified accountant who is skilled in management accounting and financial reporting, is experienced managing small teams, and has worked in hands on roles in SME businesses.

Key tasks

  • Manage the month end process for the group and several of its international entities including the preparation of month end management accounts and reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with UK standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, both internally and externally.
  • Perform general ledger entries and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for VAT returns.
  • Oversee cash flow management and financial risk hedging.
  • Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Salary for this role is up to Β£70,000 + benefits including bonus. The role is 4 days per week in the offices and 1 day per week from home.
