A high-growth business in Sussex is seeking a Financial Controller to join their finance leadership team. The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and take ownership of core financial operations while helping to shape a more robust and future-ready finance function. Responsibilities include:

  • Strengthening the overall financial control environment, including processes, reconciliations and policies
  • Leading the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate management reporting
  • Owning cash flow forecasting and working capital management, improving visibility and control
  • Supporting the budgeting and reforecasting cycle, providing review, challenge and insight
  • Overseeing tax and statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, corporation tax)
