Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing PE backed business, based in East Sussex, to recruit a new Financial Accountant role. This business is a leader in its field and is growing consistently through acquisition and organically.

This role will be part of a high calibre finance team and will be responsible for overseeing financial accounting and external reporting for a division of the business. We are looking for a finalist or recently qualified accountant, who is technically strong, and ideally has hands-on financial accounting and reporting experience.

This would be a great first move into industry for someone recently qualified and looking to move out of practice, or equally a great chance to progress for someone recently qualified in industry and looking for their next challenge.

The position includes:

  • Coordinating financial reporting
  • Statutory accounts
  • Tax reporting and other regulatory compliance
  • P&L and financial analysis
  • Cashflow management

It will also be heavily involved in driving improvements to processes and controls. Salary for this role is £60,000 + benefits. Role is hybrid working with 3 days expected in the client's offices.
