Grafton Banks Finance is working with a successful UK based retailer, with head offices in Croydon, to recruit their new Commercial Finance Manager. This role will partner the retail stores providing insightful analysis and recommendations that drive business performance improvement. We are looking for a qualified accountant and an experienced Finance Business Partner with a background in the retail industry. First class communication and analytical skills are essential. Key tasks: Serve as a business partner to Regional Managers, delivering insights on business performance and strategic recommendations for improvement. Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends, evaluate operations, and highlight areas for growth and optimisation. Engage with cross-functional teams to support initiatives, leveraging data to inform decision-making and enhance retail finance strategies. Produce accurate, timely management information to support decision-making. Own the production of Monthly Board Packs, presenting key insights to senior management. Collaborate with relevant departments to prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team, including direct reports and a remote team in India.
