Grafton Banks Finance is partnering with an exciting business in the Lewes area that is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis for an initial 6-month period. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting month-end processes, as well as managing accounts payable and receivable duties. Key responsbilities: Perform balance sheet reconciliations Assist with VAT returns preparation Handle credit card reconciliations Manage fixed asset and prepayment accounting Process accounts payable tasks, including raising PO numbers, invoicing, and general ledger coding Oversee expense processing Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts Assist with ad hoc tasks, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and project support What we are looking for: Available to start at short notice or immediately Experience with month-end close processes AAT Level 4 qualification (desirable) Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP accounting systems …
