Grafton Banks Finance is working with a large US owned business, based in Worthing, to recruit a new Finance Manager to join their team. This business is a market leader who are growing through acquisition. This role will lead a team to deliver the month end accounting under US GAAP for their European entities.
We are looking for a qualified accountant who is technically strong and is experienced in large complex businesses (US owned would be advantageous). Strong skills in GAAP compliance and month end accounting are essential, as is experience leading teams.
Key tasks:
- Ensure the financial statements and analysis are accurate monthly and completed in-line with corporate guidelines (US GAAP).
- Understand and appropriately adopt all company policies and US GAAP practices.
- Complete high quality, accurate and detailed balance sheet reconciliations monthly, and flux analysis quarterly.
- Review & approve journals for the team.
- Produce cost centre reporting.
- Assist with year-end accounting and annual audit.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4.
This role is largely office based and will require someone who values the importance of in person interaction. Salary is circa £80,000 + benefits including bonus potential of 15%, PMI, enhanced pension, and 25 days holiday.
