Grafton Banks Finance is looking to recruit for an experienced and motivated Client Manager to join an established, independently owned ICAEW Chartered Accountants. They have seen good levels of growth and they are now looking to recruit someone at the Senior Level to help grow their portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident accounting professional who enjoys managing client relationships while delivering high-quality accounts and tax advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
  • Preparing and reviewing yearend accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing accounting support and advice
  • Reviewing bookkeeping and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing corporation tax and self-assessment information where required
  • Assisting clients with queries and deadlines in a professional and timely manner
  • Supporting junior staff and reviewing their work when necessary

Requirements

  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax computations
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience preferred
  • Ability to manage workloads independently and meet deadlines
