Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a well-respected business with offices based near Bexhill, East Sussex to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Bank Payment Posting - Post vendor payments in the banking system and ensure correct allocation.
- Bank Reconciliation - Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash and payment records.
- Invoice Processing - Process invoices accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Support credit control processes.
- Work towards being able to assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns and end-of-year accounts.
Requirements:
- Proficient in both Sage and Excel.
- Completed or studying towards AAT.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
