FP&A Manager

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a global business, based in Brighton, to recruit a new FP&A Manager role.
As part of a high calibre FP&A team, this role will be heavily involved in the overall planning, oversight, and delivery of the forecasting and month-end process, and production of high-quality management information.
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills. Previous experience in an FP&A role is preferred but isn’t essential. Advanced Excel skills are a must, and experience of managing small teams is advantageous.
Salary for this role is up to £65,000 + benefits, and the role offers lots of flexibility around hybrid working with an office presence required two days per month, although people can work in the office more if they like.
Key tasks:
- Assist with the delivery of the planning processes including quarterly forecasting and annual budget.
- Manage finance analysts to ensure revenue and costs are loaded and managed correctly in the planning system.
- Assist with the monthly management accounts process that includes monthly and annual forecast analysis on both financial and KPI metrics.
- Support in preparation of presentations for Executive Team and the Board.
- Work closely with the wider FP&A team on key forecasting and budget cycles and drive a strong team culture acting as a trusted leader within the FP&A team.
- Develop new reporting and insight on Profitability, Costs, Capacity, and Risks.
- Provide high-quality MI to business partners to support them in discussions with stakeholders.
- Help drive change and process improvement via global improvement projects to streamline processes and continued adoption of tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Experience of Power BI would be an advantage.
