Grafton Banks Finance is assisting a rapidly expanding and dynamic SME in Bromley with the recruitment of a Finance Director, reporting to the CEO. The business has exciting growth plans and has recently developed new technology to support further growth both in the UK and internationally.

This key position within the senior leadership team requires an experienced FD or Head of Finance with comprehensive accounting experience, both commercial and technical.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the financial strategy, corporate governance, reporting and risk management functions of the business.
  • Managing the budget, cost control, cash flow forecasting, international expansion, investor relations, contract reviews, financial strategy and planning, margin improvement, and commercial analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Working capital management, banking relationships, future fundraising and more.
Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Operating at FD or Head of Finance level within an SME, a hands-on FD.
  • Commercially minded, with experience of driving business expansion.
  • Experience producing board reports.
  • Previous M&A experience is an advantage.
  • Based within easy commuting distance, (maximum 1 hour from Bromley).
Additional Information:

Previous experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or B2B tech sectors is an advantage but not essential. This is an exciting time to join the business – the role will allow the successful candidate to add significant commercial and strategic value and has the potential to develop into a CFO role as the company expands.
