Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a well-respected business with offices based near Bexhill, East Sussex to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Bank Payment Posting - Post vendor payments in the banking system and ensure correct allocation.
  • Bank Reconciliation - Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash and payment records.
  • Invoice Processing - Process invoices accurately and maintain proper documentation.
  • Support credit control processes.
  • Work towards being able to assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns and end-of-year accounts.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in both Sage and Excel.
  • Completed or studying towards AAT.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
