Grafton Banks Finance is working with a large global business to recruit a new Commercial Finance Analyst role. This business is constantly growing, largely through acquisition, and this role will support some of its high-profile contracts and will be instrumental in driving growth and business performance by providing financial expertise and insight.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (this is absolutely essential) who is working in a financial analysis or management accounting role and has excellent analytical and communication skills. Salary for this role is up to £55,000 + benefits including 10% bonus. This role will be hybrid working with lots of flexibility, the client has offices in Wakefield.

Key tasks:
  • Work closely with operational management, ensuring a strong understanding of the business and its commercial drivers by providing regular reporting on financial performance and business KPIs, proactively identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve business performance, and providing commercial modelling and assisting in business case building.
  • Managing periodic planning and forecasting processes, supporting management with necessary analysis and guidance.
  • Supporting the effectiveness of the Finance function by initiating and delivering projects and process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency and supporting the continued development of the reporting suite.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis, guidance and support across any and all matters related to financial performance and processes.
