A Brighton-based accountancy practice, long established yet innovative and forward-thinking, is recruiting an experienced account senior with ACA, ACCA or AAT qualifications and prior accountancy practice experience. The role is client-focused and involves managing a portfolio of clients with real impact.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for entities including Limited Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, Trusts, Charities and sole traders from source records and trial balances.
- Ensure corporate and personal tax compliance, assist with financial audits, and perform bookkeeping and VAT returns.
- Prepare management information and accounts.
- Liaise with management, partners and clients; maintain accurate time records; and draft formal correspondence to clients, HMRC, and Companies House.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Qualified with ACA, ACCA or AAT, with prior accountancy practice experience.
- Part-qualified candidates with ambition and strong written and verbal communication skills are welcomed.
