Audit & Accounts Senior in Horsham

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a highly respected independent accountancy practice on the outskirts of Horsham, with looking to add an Audit & Accounts Senior to its growing team.This opportunity sits within a well-established audit & accounts team serving a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, groups and not-for-profit organisations. They are looking for someone who actually wants to stay within audit. You'll be given the opportunity to take ownership of audit files, work with a varied client base and develop your technical skills, while receiving full study support as you continue your professional qualification.The role will likely be split with spending around 70% on audits, alongside accounts and wider tax work.

• Undertaking statutory audit assignments as part of a wider team
• Taking ownership of audit files and running them through to completion
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts
• Assisting with corporation tax computations and deferred tax
• Supporting clients with accounting queries and bookkeeping where required
• Working with a varied portfolio of businesses and groups
• Getting involved in ad-hoc assignments including valuations and other advisory work
• Working alongside more experienced members of the team to develop your technical knowledge
