Engineering Apprentice / Trainee - Hands-on Learning Opportunity!
Join the Engineering Team of this reputable company based in St Leonards.
Are you someone who enjoys making, building, fixing and understanding how things work? Do you have a genuine interest in engineering and a desire to learn practical skills?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to learn from experienced engineers, develop valuable practical skills and gain first-hand experience working with a wide range of equipment, machinery and metalworking techniques.
You will work alongside the team of engineers, learning on the job and getting involved in the day-to-day activities.
What we’re looking for;
More than anything, we are looking for the right attitude. Someone who is:
- Willing to listen, take direction, ask questions and learn from others.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and keen to develop new skills and make the most of the opportunity.
- Conscientious, switched on, practical-minded and takes pride in the quality of their work.
You should be someone who;
- Turns up on time, is reliable and has a positive attitude.
- Enjoys working with their hands and has an interest in making and building things.
- Takes care over their work and understands the importance of doing a job properly.
- Is neat, organised and conscientious.
- Is curious, interested and eager to understand how things work.
- Is receptive to feedback and willing to learn from experienced people.
- Wants to invest in themselves, develop their abilities and build a future in engineering.
Experience isn't everything - attitude is.
You don't need to know everything already. What matters is that you have the enthusiasm, work ethic and willingness to learn. We can help you develop the skills; you need to bring the right mindset.
If you’re practical, curious, motivated and excited by the idea of learning a skilled trade in a real working engineering environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Come and learn a craft, develop your skills and build something for your future!
