My client is seeking a warehouse operative to join their great warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment, and can handle heavy lifting. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with his or her hands and isn't afraid of a little hard work.
Job purpose: To receive, prepare, process and pack orders in a timely manner. To restock and undertake stock takes whilst adhering to all health and safety processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness;
- Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles;
- Counting and confirming inventory;
- Marking and labelling stock;
- Picking and packing products and reviewing paperwork to ensure that the product picked matches the documentation;
- Loading and wrapping stock on pallets;
- Operating and building loads with forklift;
- Ensure orders are ready for collection or delivery;
- Receive, verify, unpack and sort incoming materials;
- Undertaking stock takes;
- Storing inventory in an accessible manner;
- Reporting faulty or defective stock.
Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5.30pm.
