Grafters Recruit require Warehouse Operatives for our client in Harlow, to work on either day or night shifts. You will need previous experience in a warehouse environment and operating PPT & Reach Forklift. This role requires physically fit individuals, as items can be heavy. Safety boots and Hi-VIZ clothing are mandatory.
40–48 hour working week
Pay Rates £13.45
Shift is day/pm rotate 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the warehouse supervisor
- Working in a team environment in a safe manner, adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
- Loading vehicles for customer deliveries
- Ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care so it arrives at customers in perfect condition
- Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment and Reach FLT
- Checking picked stock and assembling loads prior to dispatch
- Ensuring high standards are met in line with Ikea’s quality processes
- A range of duties to support operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
Relevant skills and experience as a Warehouse Colleague:
- Previous experience within warehousing is essential
- The ability to read and understand instructions
