Grafters Recruit are Looking for multiple committed Home delivery HGV 2 drivers.The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering carpets to our B2B customer base. The role involves the handling of carpets, some weighing up to 250KG,using the manual handling equipment provided. At certain customer locations, carpet booms are available, allowing the customer to unload the vehicle directly at the point of delivery. Drivers will be issued with a PDA Devcicewhich is used throughout the working day. The PDA includes approved navigation and mapping applications to assist with route planning, low bridge avoidance, and locating delivery addresses. The device is also used to scan carpets, capture proof of delivery, and complete jobs in real time, ensuring drivers have all the toolsrequiredto carry out their duties efficiently. Monday to Friday 05:00 - 06:00 start time each day Guaranteed 10 hours per day A 45-minute break will be deducted from any shift exceeding 10.75 hours Overtime payable after 53.75 hours per week (calculated after the above break deductions across the working week) pay rate: £18.07 per hour Free on-site parking Automatically enrolled in company pension after 3 months Could potentially lead to a full-time position.
