Transport Clerk required
Grafters Stoke are currently looking for a Transport Clerk to work out of our client in Stoke-on-Trent, this is a full-time position with an immediate start available.
For this Transport Clerk / Logistics Clerk / Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all associated paperwork is efficiently and accurately filled.
- Communication with drivers.
- Input run details to provide accurate data required for departmental KPIs.
- Complete debrief of all core and agency drivers.
- To support wider transport operation, including use of microlise system.
- Dispatch core, agency and sub-contractor drivers.
For this Transport Clerk / Logistics Clerk / Transport Administrator, you will need:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- To be computer literate.
- Ability to support and demonstrate the depot values and high performance behaviours.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Details of this Transport Clerk / Logistics Clerk / Transport Administrator role:
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.21PH with an additional night premium of £1.06PH
- Positive and friendly environment including free on-site parking.
- Day Shifts: 06:30 18:30 – Night Shifts: 18:30 06:30
- Week 1: Work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday to Sunday.
- Week 2: Off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday to Sunday – Then the pattern repeats, switching from days to nights every two weeks.
