Grafters Recruit Ltd require Transport Operations Clerk for our clients in the Northampton area (swan valley).

DUTIES:
– administer the movement of vehicles (and associated activity) received and despatched from the site in a timely, safe and accurate standard, in line with the agreed service strategy to the JS store network
– undertake all activities in line with the KPI requirements/service agreements for that area
– be accountable for personal Health and Safety practices
– ensure that Wincanton Health and Safety policy and procedures are followed at all times
– ensure that any customer specific health and safety requirements are followed where appropriate
– assist, in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager in resolving appropriate problems relating to health and safety and welfare matters
– help ensure appropriate action is taken to remove/reduce any significant risks or hazards identified
– raise any areas of opportunity for improvement, or concern regarding the working environment
– raise any areas of opportunity for improvement, or concern regarding the environmental issues on site
– assist in administering the service, integrity and accuracy of the WMS/transport IT systems (Isotrak, YardSmart, Tachomaster)
– maintain accurate records management
– work in accordance with agreed targets set by the Company and customer with regard to productivity, performance, accuracy, timekeeping and attendance;
– escalate appropriate issues in line with agreed procedures to Managers
– work as trained and in accordance with Company procedure with regard to all tasks undertaken within role
– welcome new starters to the site and help support them where appropriate in their work
– help resolve issues at a local level through effective team work
Shifts available:
3 nights on 3 nights off or 4 nights on 4 nights off
Nights 18:00-06:00
Pay rate:
Night – £15.43per hour
Overtime Nights after 48 hours – £23.15 per hour
Bank holiday Nights – £30.86 per hour
