n We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers, to join our busy and evolving transport team in Stafford . You'll be working for a leading logistics company and involved in ensuring that the trade counters across the country have sufficient stocks in order to supply their customer's needs. Everything from screws to lawn mowers to the kitchen sink! \n 10-hour shifts starting from 00:00-02:00 , 01:00-03:00 , 11:00-13:00 & 12:00-14:00 (Not rotating) \n Pay, benefits and more: \n ·Salary of up to £44,848.43 per annum \n Weekday Days at £17.25 and overtime is £20.80 weekdays. \n Saturdays - £19.25 \n Sundays - £21.28 \n · 31 days inclusive of bank holidays . \n \n Extensive retail discounts across all the big retailers including supermarkets, fashion, technology, travel, days out, hair & beauty, sports and much more! \n Permanent employment contract with an ever evolving and growing market leader \n Extensive wellbeing programmes and initiatives accessible to all employees \n Pension scheme \n \n What you'll do on a typical day: \n \n Collection and delivery of small to large high-value consignments that require special handling conditions to stores \n Consistently ensure customer expectations are met \n Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shift \n Adhere to specific time restrictions given under current legislation \n Driving activities will generally consist of inter-site and intra-site deliveries, supplier collections around the UK \n \n What you need to be successful: \n \n Must have a valid Class 1 licence with a full CPC qualification \n Must hold Digital tachograph card \n Must not have more than 7 points on licence \n Strong communication skills, particularly verbal, to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers \n Experience of multi drop collection and deliveries together with experience of working in a warehouse environment will be an advantage, although full training will be provided \n \n Grafters Recruit Ltd have five branches, four on-site locations and four remote contracts throughout the country.
