Overview
HGV Class 2 Drivers Needed
Grafters Recruit are currently looking for HGV2/ LGV Category C Driver/ Class 2 Drivers to work out of our client in Northampton on a temp – perm basis with immediate starts available.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and professionally in line with company policies and legal requirements
- Comply with all vehicle security and standing procedures
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any issues immediately
- Report delivery issues promptly
- Delivering kitchen and bathroom flatpack products as part of a two-person crew to customers\’ houses and flats
- Professionally completing 6-16 drops per shift
Requirements
- Category C licence with at least 6 months experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No more than 6 points
- DIGI and CPC Card
- Physically capable – manual handling is part of the role
Role Details
- Competitive hourly rate – £17.11PH
- Start times between 04:00 – 06:00
- Tuesday – Saturday shift pattern, completing 45hrs per week
- Positive and friendly environment including free on-site parking
- £500 bonus for referring a lorry driver friend – they get £250 too
- 28 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
