BENEFITS:- Pay from £16.50 £18.63 per hour (Worcester Depot)- Pay from £19:23 - £28.68 (Tamworth Depot)- Guaranteed minimum 8 hours per shift- Breaks are paid- Free on-site parking- Automatically enrolled in company pension after 3 months- Entitled to Holiday Pay WORKING PATTERNS AVAILABLE: Monday to Friday- 0600-1800 and 1800 till 0600- additional Sunday work available time to time REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- Category C+E (Class 1)- Newer drivers welcome- Valid CPC- Valid Digital Tachograph Card- Maximum 6 points on license- Shunter will be required to work from both sites when required- shunters will not be issued with tablets to input data.
They will need basic Excel knowledge, as the role involves completing paperwork on clipboards and then entering simple details into a spreadsheet.
Shunter will be responsible for opening containers doors/manual handling- self-motivated and good communications with use of a hand-held radio to the office- computer Experience Outlook- Emails to customers and client's- Excel knowledge - Data entry into spread sheet.- Legal compliance- system check for asset service week and Mot's due.- Reporting defects using web-based system.
