Grafters Recruit are Looking for multiple committed Home delivery HGV 2 drivers.The role involves the handling of carpets, some weighing up to 250KG, using the manual handling equipment provided. At certain customer locations, carpet booms are available, allowing the customer to unload the vehicle directly at the point of delivery. Drivers will be issued with a PDA Devcice which is used throughout the working day. The PDA includes approved navigation and mapping applications to assist with route planning, low bridge avoidance, and locating delivery addresses. The device is also used to scan carpets, capture proof of delivery, and complete jobs in real time, ensuring drivers have all the tools required to carry out their duties efficiently. ~ Monday to Friday ~A 45-minute break will be deducted from any shift exceeding 10.75 hours ~ Overtime payable after 53.75 hours per week (calculated after the above break deductions across the working week) ~ pay rate: £18.07 per hour ~ Free on-site parking ~ Automatically enrolled in company pension after 3 months ~ Could potentially lead to a full-time position. ~ Annual Leave Accrued Pro Rata Extensive retail discounts across all the big retailers including supermarkets, fashion, technology, travel, days out, hair & beauty, sports and much more!
