Grafter is hiring for a range of contract and short-term jobs across the UK. We currently have a client looking to fill a role with the following description:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and applying primers/sealers
- Mix, match, and apply paints and finishes according to colour charts and job specifications
- Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and external surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and other necessary measures
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards, following health and safety regulations
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work area
- Communicate effectively with clients
