Central Production Unit Chef – £40,000 + 6-Monthly Bonus - Monday–Friday
We’re recruiting an experienced, highly organised Central Production Unit Chef to take full ownership of a small, solo CPU operation based in Vauxhall. This role is responsible for all prep production for a premium ramen brand and requires someone comfortable working independently, managing admin and planning, and delivering consistent, high-quality output. If run successfully, the operation will expand into additional brands, with scope to build a team and move into a dedicated kitchen.
Key responsibilities:- Run day-to-day CPU operations independently
- Deliver high-quality mise en place and base products
- Own planning, admin, ordering, stock control, and food safety
- Work with senior culinary and supply chain stakeholders
- Experience in a central production, commissary, or highly organised prep kitchen
- Exceptionally organised and admin-confident
- Comfortable working alone but able to communicate clearly with senior teams
- Strong food safety and quality standards
This role suits chefs who want ownership, structure, and long-term growth — not large brigade kitchens or junior positions.
