This leading consumer healthcare business is a global player in the manufacture, supply and distribution of many of the healthcare and pharmaceutical products we use in our daily lives. The company is also a provider of personalised healthcare, medtech, diagnostics and health tech products.
The business now has a need to appoint a commercial lawyer at Senior Legal Counsel level to provide dedicated legal support to its wholesale business. The role will lead on key commercial negotiations with external partners, including large pharmaceutical companies as well as retail distributors on the B2C side. The role will be responsible for resolving issues which arise in existing commercial relationships and building relationships with key stakeholders.
As part of a small but well-integrated legal team, you will have direct exposure to senior management from day one. Based in Surrey, the role offers excellent quality work in a sector which is key for all of us, along with flexibility and a truly people focussed business and legal team.
You will need a general commercial contracts background ideally gained in-house, although commercial experience in private practice would also be considered. Procurement and supply contracts experience is also key, as is any experience with supply chain and distribution. Industry experience in consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or FMCG would suit, with experience in the supply and distribution of goods or services being key.
