This leading fashion brand has experienced exponential growth in recent years and is now looking to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel and first lawyer for its European operations.

The business now has a need for a commercial lawyer to join the team and take responsibility for a wide range of matters including:

  • General commercial law
  • Company law
  • Corporate matters (including establishing the business in new territories)
  • Day-to-day support on IP, marketing, e-commerce, and data privacy matters

The work will be varied and as part of an international legal team, you will work directly with various areas of the business. You will have the opportunity to establish strong relationships and truly partner with the business, supporting this brand in its growth of market share in a highly competitive environment. The brand is growing globally along with the legal team, making this a key role for the business.

About You

The role will best suit a commercial lawyer who enjoys variety as well as working with brands. Experience with commercial and company law is key, along with an understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing, company law, and experience working with a multi-jurisdictional business. Demonstrated experience in the fashion, retail, or luxury space is essential. The demonstrated ability to work with a brand growing at scale is also key.

The role is based in Central London with a 3-4 day a week hybrid working arrangement. This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a retail fashion brand in a newly created position with the opportunity to work closely with the business as it continues to scale.
