The Opportunity
The business is now looking for a commercial lawyer to join its legal team, 3 days a week in a job share arrangement. This will initially be offered for 12 months, very much with a view for the job sharing arrangement to become permanent.
In this role, you will review, draft and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements, often relating to the practical side of the business including warehousing, logistics, supply and distribution as well as tech and digital, marketing and IP. You will be a strategic legal adviser and trusted legal partner for the business, working and engaging with stakeholders across the business and supporting cross-functional activities and complex projects.
You will also play a role in supervising, mentoring and supporting the development of other lawyers in the team, with one direct report.
About You
A broad general commercial background is key, with experience in consumer, retail, luxury or fashion sectors most likely being essential. The ability to work with multiple teams in a global business and liaise with creative minds is also key, as is the ability to establish effective working relationships across the global business.
A willingness to invest in the success of the job share arrangement is also key. The role is currently being offered for 12 months with a view to it becoming a permanent arrangement if the job sharing proves to work well.
