This leading international retailer is looking to appoint a Regulatory Counsel to its UK business to provide wide ranging legal support and advice to its group of high street brands.

About the Opportunity

As the lead regulatory lawyer for the UK business, you will manage regulatory matters relating to data privacy, marketing, competition and consumer law and any other regulatory regime the brands need to follow.

You will partner with the business and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, managing risk and supporting a culture of integrity.

About You

This is a varied regulatory position and will suit an individual with experience in a regulatory context, from data privacy to competition, litigation or even healthcare lawyer looking to broaden their experience and turn their hand to new things. Any marketing or consumer focussed experience would be useful but can certainly be learnt and is not essential.

This is a large and complex international business and the position is likely to best suit an individual who can navigate complexities of this nature, whilst also being collaborative and collegiate, fostering excellent working relationships across the business and having a focus on people, both customers and people in the business.

This is a rare and unique in-house Regulatory Counsel opportunity which will best suit a regualtory lawyer who is looking to broaden their experience and be part of a consumer brand.
