A great opportunity has come to market for a seasoned Compliance specialist to manage all regulatory activity for a major pharmaceutical and healthcare organisation in the UK. This is a stand-alone appointment where you'll have full control and responsibility for all Compliance and Regulatory matters, reporting to the Chief Compliance Counsel in Europe.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be working with a multitude of Senior Stakeholders in the UK and mainland Europe, but also working closely with other Legal and Compliance professionals across the globe, including Sales, Data Scientists and Researchers, both in Oxford and London. The firm develops medicines for a number of different diseases affecting people all over the world, but also develops and manufactures medical equipment used in the healthcare sector.

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience of working with Senior Stakeholders and Senior Leadership.
  • Good experience of working at a senior level within a complex pharma/healthcare organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience of working across a broad range of Compliance and Regulatory matters, including Privacy.
  • The ability to explain complex Compliance/Regulatory matters clearly and concisely to non-compliance people.
  • Proven ability to influence change where needed.
  • Experience of working with AI initiatives would be helpful, but not essential.

This position will suit a senior "hands on" Compliance specialist that enjoys variety, where no one day is the same.
