Lead Compliance Officer - Major Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Organisation.

A great opportunity has come to market for a Lead Compliance specialist to manage all regulatory activity for a major pharmaceutical and healthcare organisation in the UK.

This is a stand-alone appointment where you'll have full control and responsibility for all Compliance, Regulatory and Privacy matters, reporting to the Chief Compliance Counsel in Europe.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be working with a multitude of Senior Stakeholders in the UK and mainland Europe, but also working closely with other Legal and Compliance professionals across the globe, including Sales, Data Scientists and Researchers across the UK.

The firm develop medicines for a number of different diseases effecting people all over the world, but also develop and manufacture medical equipment used in the healthcare sector.

Skills and experience required.

  • Demonstrable experience of working with Senior Stakeholders and Senior Leadership.
  • Good experience of working at a senior level within a complex pharma / healthcare organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience of working across a broad range of Compliance and Regulatory matters, including Data Privacy.
  • Good working knowledge of ABPI code.
  • The ability to explain complex Compliance, Regulatory and Data Privacy matters clearly and concisely to non-compliance people.
  • Proven ability to influence change where needed.
  • Experience of working with AI initiatives would be helpful, but not essential.

This position will suit a senior \"hands on\" Compliance specialist that enjoys variety, where no one day is the same.
