This leading healthcare business is a key player in the manufacture, supply and distribution of healthcare and pharmaceutical services, personalised healthcare products, health tech and diagnostics. Operating in more than 50 countries, the business is complex and offers its legal team quality and varied work.
The business is investing heavily in its clinical trials offering and, to best serve its client base and internal stakeholders, now needs a dual-qualified senior lawyer. Key responsibilities include negotiating large contracts related to the clinical trials offering, where clients are often in the US as well as based in Europe. The role has both European and global focus, as many clients will require contracts relating to global services, many of these services being carried out in Spain.
You will be responsible for managing legal risk across the international clinical trials business, negotiating large commercial contracts, and advising on matters relating to IP, data privacy, contract law and competition law.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer to join a global leader and help build this division for the global business. Significant experience negotiating complex and high-value commercial contracts in a complex industry is key, as is providing advice on compliance and regulatory matters from time to time.
