The business now has a need for a Corporate Lawyer to join the business as Senior Legal Counsel. The role will take responsibility for a wide range of matters largely relating to the running of a large plc. You will support the finance, tax and treasury teams, providing legal advice and managing governance, risk and compliance. You will support on lending and financing matters, share purchase and dividend arrangements as well as tax and treasury matters. You will provide dedicated legal support and advice in relation to group structures as well as the preparation of the annual report.
You will have the opportunity to establish strong relationships and truly partner with the business, being a key player in the smooth running of a FTSE 100 plc.
The role will best suit a Corporate lawyer with knowledge of the operation of publicly listed companies. A broad corporate background, including experience with finance documentation and advising on shares and corporate structures is also key. The ability to exercise this experience and expertise in a commercial way and in a commercial setting will be fundamental in being successful in this position.
The ability to work with a large and complex business is also key, along with the ability to hit the ground running on establishing relationships with key stakeholders. This is a rare and unique opportunity for a corporate lawyer to join a FTSE 100 business and play a key role in the running of the organisation.
The company is based in central London with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office.
