Interim and Part-Time (2 to 4 days) Compliance & Data Privacy Officer - Fully Remote
The Organisation
A leading Media and Entertainment organisation in the UK.
The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Compliance & Data Privacy professional to join one of the leading Media and Entertainment organisations in the UK. The role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Counsel and involves working on a wide variety of both Regulatory and Data Privacy projects, largely driven by AI and ESG matters, but not limited to, and assist with further developing their ever evolving governance and assurance framework and compliance policies and controls. This position would suit someone that’s looking for a part-time, fully remote role and enjoys variety and project-based work across a multitude of different regulatory issues around Corporate Compliance and Data Privacy matters affecting a major Corporate Entertainment organisation.
About You
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Compliance and Data Professional with demonstrable experience of working on some of the following:
- Experience of working within a large corporate environment with stakeholders would be helpful, but not essential.
- Experience of advising on Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions and European legislation.
- Proven ability to further develop and operate compliance frameworks and policies and conduct risk assessments, investigations and training.
- Good understanding of Data Privacy (GDPR) matters.
- Ideally a background in the technology and/or AI industry sector, but not essential.
- Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders on a range of regulatory matters affecting a large corporation in different territories.
- Demonstrable experience of strong organisational, communication and project management skills.
This is currently being offered as a 3 month contract. Part time (2 to 4 days TBC), and fully remote.
