The Opportunity
We are working with a major retail organisation in the search for a Data Privacy Specialist for their London operation. This is a permanent position, sitting within their Legal team in London, reporting to the Data Protection Officer (DPO), whilst working with a small team of Privacy specialists in London. The role will suit a mid-level Data Privacy specialist that has been involved in a broad range of Privacy matters and enjoys variety in their work. Being a large organisation, no one day is likely to be the same!
The role sits across all areas of the business including legal, marketing, HR, digital, IT security in which you will be responsible for providing advice and support. The firm we are working with are open to applications from any regulated industry sector.
Permanent role / Hybrid working arrangement in London.
About You
This will suit an experienced Data Privacy specialist that enjoys a varied, business facing role, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important. As a guide, 3 to 4 years Privacy experience, although all levels will be considered.
- Any Legal background / qualification would be ideal, although not essential, especially as this sits within the Legal team.
- Previous experience of working within a recognisable organisation, either in Private Practice (Law Firm) or In-house organisation preferred.
- Ability to communicate with Senior Stakeholders and communicate clearly is key.
- A keen interest in Data Privacy / Cyber Security beneficial.
- Any Data Privacy accreditations would be beneficial.
- An interest in tech and AI would be helpful.
