Legal Director, FMCG
About the Company
This leading customer focused business is a global market player. Operating in more than 65 countries, the business is highly complex and a leader in sustainability.
The Opportunity
The business now has a need for a Legal Director to join the business. The position will support the UK as well as the international business, providing legal support on broad commercial matters relating to logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and consumer law as well as providing legal advice on a wide variety of matters to the wider business.
About You
The position will best suit a Commercial lawyer, most likely with in-house experience and certainly with experience in international territories. The ability to pivot from a negotiation in one country to a different matter in another country fairly quickly is key. Any experience in logistics, consumer sectors or the pharmaceutical sector would be useful.
Strong stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to build and cultivate effective working relationships across a global business is key. Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate through highly complex matters is also essential.
