Senior Solutions Architect in Preston

Requirements

• We are looking for someone located in the UK.
• We need 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams using project management techniques.
• We need direct experience with observability.
• We need best practices for using and deploying an observability stack, including visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces, preferably with Grafana products such as Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, and Jaeger/Tempo.
• We need a proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations for large customers.
• We need excellent communication skills for working with customers, partners, and internal team members.
• We need Kubernetes experience, including kubectl, Helm, and preferably Tanka.
• We need experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• We work with customers across business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
• We understand business needs and turn them into business and technical requirements.
• We translate complex business and technological requirements into solution designs, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
• We act as a functional lead, lead functional workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
• We move quickly and help accelerate solution delivery for customers.
• We advocate for adherence to standards and best practices.
• We stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
• We serve as a key resource for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to help drive innovation and future improvements.
• We help customers succeed through technical consulting, training, jumpstart engagements, and roadmap assurance.
• We identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and collaborate internally on product improvements.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a £103,900 - £124,500 base salary range in the UK, plus RSUs, 30 days of annual leave, in-person onboarding, and a high-trust, innovation-driven environment with strong growth opportunities. This role is part of our world-class Customer Experience team and is based in the UK.
