Role at Gradus Limited. Base pay range: Permanent, full‑time, home‑based. Field coverage across Central South and parts of Southwest London. £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus 35% bonus OTE.

Responsibilities:

  • You will proactively identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities for new build and refurbishment projects in the region.
  • Work will mainly be through specification by architects, contractors or end‑users, leading to sales via distribution or direct account contractors.
  • You will manage timely delivery of Contract products to the targeted market sectors and develop key customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote and achieve specification / brand awareness of Gerflor and Gradus Commercial products by visiting architects, designers, contractors, local authorities, builders, quantity surveyors and end‑users.
  • Regularly organise and present CPD seminars with specifiers.
  • Participate actively in trade shows where Gerflor exhibits and in road shows organised with distributors.
  • Provide market intelligence on competition, distribution, product trends, standards, etc.
  • Work closely with the Regional Team and Key Account Managers assigned to the region.
  • Attend customer trips to factories when needed.
  • Inspect, when necessary, complaints on behalf of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Successful specification sales experience.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth, with a highly sales‑driven and technical mindset.
  • Solid experience in new business development or a senior sales capacity, ideally in a similar sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude.
  • Flexible, dynamic, and highly organised method of working.
  • Confident communicator – presenting, verbal and written.
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • IT literacy in all Microsoft programs.
